Manchester United have been watching Bournemouth star Marcus Tavernier in action ahead of a potential move, according to TEAMtalk.
The 27-year-old winger has taken his game to another level since making the move to the south coast from Middlesbrough in 2022.
Tavernier was a key part of Andoni Iraola's Cherries side that qualified for Europe for the first time last season, with the Leeds-born ace continuing to play a major role under new boss Marco Rose.
Tavernier was in fact on the scoresheet in Bournemouth's recent 3-0 win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford, taking his total to six goals for the season in all competitions.
The Red Devils have plenty of work to do in the transfer market after such a poor start to the campaign under Michael Carrick and TEAMtalk report that Tavernier is among the players being assessed.
However, they will not have it all their own way if they do indeed launch a move for the left-winger.
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are keeping close tabs on the player and have been compiling reports as they look to strengthen the left side of their attack.
Arsenal are also huge admirers of Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi and they have also been watching Alex Scott.
Newcastle United are also another club keeping tabs on Tavernier.

All 10 found — excellent!
Tavernier unfortunately appears to go under the radar a little bit at Bournemouth with teammates such as Kroupi, Scott and Rayan grabbing the headlines.
He did, however, deservedly come in for praise from pundit Robbie Mustoe on NBC Sports recently after his excellent start to the season.
"We always do an underappreciated performer because we always like to highlight a player that's actually pretty good but doesn't get many accolades," said the former Middlesbrough player.
"Marcus Tavernier, I seem to do him every single season, but his quality is so great. He was at Middlesbrough a little bit, but he wasn't a star play at Middlesbrough, but he's just one of those that always plays well.
"He's got great energy about him, he's got great quality and delivery, crosses and free kicks. And again, he's the man for scoring another goal for them. He can play as a 10 and he can play on the outside. He's just a wonderful player."
With six goals to his name this season already and some top performances to go along with his output in the final third, it comes as no surprise to see two of England's biggest clubs taking a look at him ahead of a potential transfer.
