Kai Rooney sends powerful message to Man Utd fans after Burnley U18s impact as Fletcher twins both react

Kai Rooney has now spoken out after Wayne Rooney’s son went on a goalscoring rampage for Manchester United Under-18s against Burnley Under-18s.

The Red Devils returned to action in the Under-18s Premier League North on Tuesday afternoon and Kai Rooney was in his element in the final third.

Kai broke the deadlock for Manchester United Under-18s in the first half at the Burnley FC Training Centre before he turned his performance up a notch.

The son of Wayne Rooney completed his brace four minutes into the second half after he netted from a penalty before adding a further two to his name.

Michael Carrick stays in charge vs Chelsea: Give us FIVE players who are MUST START to get a win this weekend….

Who should Carrick build his team around? Who can he trust?

I totally agree. Fleetwood Town have proven tonight that just turning up isn't enough. If we play with the same players as Bournemouth we will get destroyed. I would much rather give youth a chance. We will lose anyway, so let's be brave!

1

Mbeumo, Amad, Baleba, Mainoo { if fit ), Maguire. Fernandes shouldn't play or the club again unless he comes out and publicly apologises for his outburst last week. If he does that he should be in the five, ahead of Tielemans. Maguire should retain the captaincy. It might be too tough a task to put Amass in for this game, but he should be used soon.

Shea Lacy, Harry Amass, De ligt, Mainoo and Baleba.

Kai Rooney’s post-match social media post sparks reactions from several Man Utd talents, including Jack Fletcher and Tyler Fletcher

Outside of Kai Rooney’s stunning goalscoring exploits, Jaume Camacho and Noah Ajayi found the back of the net for Manchester United Under-18s as well. Rooney took to Instagram after the 6-0 demolition of Burnley Under-18s and sent a message to United fans.

The United youth academy talent shared photos from the Premier League North match on Tuesday and posted the caption “KR x 4” to mark his sensational goalscoring impact at the Burnley FC Training Centre. Rooney’s performance saw multiple people flock to his post, including mother Coleen Rooney and United academy talents Jack Fletcher and Tyler Fletcher.

Jaume Camacho celebrated his own impact from the match on Instagram and Rooney reacted to his United teammate’s performance by leaving a GIF. Joining Rooney in posting on Camacho’s post was Jack Fletcher, who left an ‘open mouth’ emoji in the comments.

Man Utd Under-18s are currently third in the Premier League North table and are two points behind second-place Newcastle Under-18s and five points behind league leaders Manchester City Under-18s. However, Newcastle Under-18s have played one more match than both Manchester City Under-18s and Man Utd U18s this season.
