FRANK WARREN has denied “absolute nonsense” claims that Tyson Fury is INJURED and facing the prospect of pulling out against Anthony Joshua.
The allegation was made by former British world heavyweight champion Frank Bruno on Midnite podcast Fight Your Corner.
Bruno, 64, said: “I looked at him the other day and I think someone was talking to me in the gym that he’s got some injury, which may stop him from going into the fight with Anthony Joshua?
“And having that on your head ain’t nice.”
Despite Bruno’s claim, Warren – the long-time promoter of Fury – told SunSport: “Nonsense. Absolute nonsense.”
Fury is over in Miami training for the December 11 mega-fight, sparring the likes of Joe Joyce and Jarrell Miller.
Warren added: “He’s doing well. I haven’t spoken to him for a week.
“I’ll leave him alone, leave him in peace, but the last time I spoke to him he just said I wish the fight was tomorrow.
“He’s so up for it, he’s so focused and he wants it so badly.”
The battle of Britain has taken over ten years to commence and their first-ever face-off was a dull affair.
Although Warren admits master of mind games Fury is keeping some verbal artillery in his holster.
The 74-year-old promoter said: “He’s always the Gypsy King. What you see, is what you get. Fight week will be lively, I’m quite confident of that.
“Well they’ll both be looking to get an edge, that’s what fighters do. But you know what, on the night, that’s where you need the edge.”
Added to the Netflix extravaganza is Fury’s rival Deontay Wilder – who twice beaten by the Gyps King after their initial 2018 draw.

Wilder – who faces former cruiserweight Jai Opetaia on Fury’s undercard – has struggled to accept the defeats by blaming them on array of excuses.
But Warren talked down the threat of Fury being distracted by the Bronze Bomber’s presence throughout the week.
He said: “No it won’t affect Tyson whatsoever. I think Deontay is in a last chance saloon isn’t he?
“He’s in with a fighter who’s coming up to heavyweight – a great cruiserweight – who’ll be looking to emulate what David Haye’s done, what Evander Holyfield’s done and all those other great cruiserweights that have come up.
“But who knows. It’ll be exciting, that’s for sure.”
