LeBron James’ trip to Indianapolis featured a familiar face in the crowd, with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark taking in the game courtside.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse had a real buzz Wednesday night as the Sixers edged out the Pacers 114-109, with LeBron doing typical LeBron things, dishing 10 assists to go with 13 points and five boards.

Watching it all from the front row was Caitlin Clark, sitting courtside with Fever assistant Rob Dosier.

Clark has openly laughed about how starstruck she was the very first time she met LeBron, and the mutual respect has only grown since. James has been quick to publicly back her whenever critics chimed in, while Clark has never been shy about calling him the standard.

Fans got a kick out of seeing Caitlin Clark pull out a vintage point-and-shoot camera from her front-row seat, casually snapping away like any other fan having a night out.

But the real moment happened well after the final buzzer sounded. Pacers beat writer Tony East posted that Clark and LeBron ran into each other in the arena hallways and spent some real time catching up.

He wrote: ‘LeBron and Caitlin Clark met in the halls of Gainbridge Fieldhouse postgame and chatted for a while. They’ve become friendly in recent years. Clark and Fever assistant Rob Dosier sat courtside for Pacers-76ers.’

The respect between the NBA and WNBA is at an all-time high, and you can see it in how the guys react. Tyrese Maxey admitted he had to stop himself from fanning out after meeting Clark, calling her “cold” and confessing it was just genuinely cool seeing her in her home arena.
