Why Ole Miss football will win against Georgia
Mississippi Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss (6) passes the ball against the Louisiana State Tigers

The No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels will host the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs this weekend in a primetime matchup (7:30 p.m. ET on ABC) in Oxford, Mississippi. This is a huge contest and is one of the best games on the weekend's slate of ranked games.

Ole Miss has been excellent for the most part of the season and they look to continue that against the Bulldogs. The Rebels certainly have their work cut out for them with arguably the best defense in the country and an offense that has a ton of weapons at their disposal. The Bulldogs do a great job at finding ways to get the ball to multiple playmakers and of course the UGA defense swarms all game long.

The Rebels are led by one of the best playmakers in the entire country in quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. Chambliss is an elite player who can deliver the football with the best of the best and can run around the yard avoiding defenders better than anyone else at the signal caller position. Ole Miss will look to get him going early on and often.

Reasons why Ole Miss wins vs. Georgia

Big plays from Rebels QB Trinidad Chambliss

The biggest factor in this game for Ole Miss is quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. The Rebels offense operates through him and when he is on his game at a high level, they are extremely hard to slow down as an opposing defense. Chambliss does a tremendous job at getting his receivers involved throughout the game and of course he is special when it comes to improvising and that will be the biggest challenge for the Georgia defense.

Ole Miss will look to get Chambliss going from the first snap. Look for big plays early from the Rebels to get the Bulldogs defense off balance early. One thing an opponent doesn't want to do is play catch up to an Ole Miss offense led by Chambliss.

Chambliss has been playing at a higher level than Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton and will put up too many points for Georgia to keep up with.

Home field advantage for Ole Miss

Home field advantage is a real thing and depending on the atmosphere, it can help decide an outcome to a high degree. For the Ole Miss Rebels, when playing at home in big games, the Rebels fan base tends to show up and get loud throughout the contest.

One thing about this matchup, the home field advantage will play a part. A game of this magnitude certainly can help a team as momentum swings. Expect for Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth field to be rocking with 64,038 strong at hand. This will help the Rebels come out victorious against the Bulldogs to extend their 16-game home winning streak. Georgia coach Kirby Smart has never won at Ole Miss during his time at Georgia.
