The New England Patriots had a new absence on Thursday's injury report.
Veteran cornerback Marcus Jones joined wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson and tight end Hunter Henry as a non-participant in practice. Jones was listed as dealing with a foot injury ahead of the Patriots' Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers.
This is the second straight practice missed by Brown, Henderson and Henry, putting their availability for Sunday's matchup in serious doubt.
Some good news for the Patriots was defensive tackle Christian Barmore returning to practice after missing Wednesday with an illness. There was outside speculation that Barmore's absence might have been tied to trade rumors, but the veteran defender returned as a full participant at practice.
Special teams ace Brenden Schooler also popped up on the list as limited with a hamstring injury. So that will be another one to watch this week.
