Grant (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Hornets, Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian reports.
Grant is dealing with "general soreness," so he will sit out the Grizzlies' final preseason contest. Barring an unforeseen setback, he should be ready to go on Opening Night against the Jazz.
