Enniskillen Rugby Club players Sophie Barrett and India Daley have been selected for Ireland’s Women’s squad for the WXV Global Series in South Africa.

The double selection is a proud moment for the club, highlighting the talent and dedication of two players who have worked hard to reach the international stage.

International duty

For Sophie Barrett, the call-up follows a particularly memorable milestone, having earned her first senior international cap for Ireland in the victory over Japan at the weekend.

She marked her debut in style by scoring a try, making an already special occasion even more memorable.

Their call-up comes as Robert Baloucoune has also been selected for Ireland’s Nations Championship next month.
