Tennessee football is two-thirds of the way through its 2026 regular season. That not only means we have a strong sample size for how players have performed this year, but it makes it easy to do the math to see what they’re on pace for in a 12-game regular slate.
For a number of key players, I simply took the total number they’ve reached in a particular stat, divided it by two and then added that result on top of the original total. That gives us the on-pace stat they’re at on the year.
However, it’s worth noting that if players participate in any College Football Playoff games or a bowl game, then the number would have the chance to rise even more. That’s particularly important to note when looking at the historical context of some of these numbers and the chances they have to enter the record books.
