The Carolina Panthers, ahead of tomorrow's matchup against the Denver Broncos, have added some depth where they need it the most.
As announced on Saturday afternoon, the team has elevated cornerbacks Marco Wilson and Corey Thornton from the practice squad.
This marks Wilson's second consecutive call-up. The sixth-year veteran got the start in the Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers—where he recorded eight combined tackles and two passes defensed over 69 defensive snaps.
Thornton, an undrafted rookie from 2025, has been elevated for the first time in 2026. The 25-year-old appeared in 12 games for the Panthers last season—amassing 14 combined tackles, three passes defensed and a forced fumble.
Carolina is currently down their usual starting corners in Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson, both of whom are still on injured reserve. They'll also be without backups Akayleb Evans and Will Lee III, who was ruled out from the tilt with a hamstring injury on Friday.
