Martin O'Neill was reminded "of the olden days" after Celtic fans roared their side on to a Europa League victory over Besiktas.
Camilo Duran scored twice off the bench as Celtic defeated Besiktas 3-2 at home on Thursday, with 20-year-old Callum Osmand also getting on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Besiktas took the lead through Junior Olaitan, who scored the rebound off his own penalty miss, and Orkun Kokcu restored parity in the 85th minute after goals from Osmand and Duran.
But Duran had the final say two minutes later, clinching Celtic's first win in the Europa League this season.
Duran became the first substitute to score two goals in a major European competition for Celtic since Johannes Edvaldsson against Jeunesse d'Esch in the European Cup in September 1977.
Celtic’s victory ended a run of three successive defeats at home in the Europa League, since their last such win in January against Utrecht (4-2), and O'Neill took great delight in their home support.
"The crowd gives us something and tonight was particularly special. It reminded me of the olden days," the Celtic boss told TNT Sports.

"A really good performance. Hearts and soul into the game. Just when I thought we were going to drop two points, we came back again. So much spirit.
"It's been tough in Europe, tonight was tough. We always still think about trying to qualify – at least we've given ourselves a chance.
"We made some changes, freshened things up. We have to give the opportunity [to players] because we play a lot of games in quick succession."
Celtic are the second team to win a Europa League match this season having conceded the opening goal in the second half, after Celta Vigo, who did so against Celtic on matchday three (2-1).
Aged 20 years 362 days, Osmand is the youngest player to score in major European competition for Celtic since Liel Abada (20 yrs 32d) in November 2021, against Ferencvaros in the Europa League.
