Kenneth Walker scored eight touchdowns during the Chiefs’ 5-0 start to the 2026 season, but he was shut out in back-to-back losses over the last two weeks.
Walker found his way back to the end zone against the Jets on Sunday. He scored on a seven-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes on the first play of the second quarter and the Chiefs are up 7-6 as a result.
Walker had a pair of runs for 13 yards on the scoring drive and Mahomes connected with Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Jalen Royals to pick up big chunks of yardage.
The Jets kicked field goals on each of their first two possessions, but the Walker touchdown offered a reminder that they need to get into the end zone if they plan to pull off a road upset on Sunday.
