Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has promised to put his majority stake in the club up for sale if Robbie Savage's side fail to reach League One's top 10 by February.

Posh are currently in the relegation zone after collecting just 10 points from their opening 12 league matches.

Savage won his first two games after taking charge earlier this month but has since overseen four matches without a victory across all competitions.

Their latest setback came on Tuesday night, when Bradford City ended their Carabao Cup campaign with a 2-0 fourth-round win.
