Premier League record goalscorer Alan Shearer has named his Team of the Week for Matchweek 7, with Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Diego Gomez earning a place following his incredible goal from the halfway line against Crystal Palace.

Gomez is joined by team-mate Luka Vuskovic after his dominant performance in defence, while head coach Fabian Hurzeler has been chosen by Shearer as the manager of his team.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa trio Zion Suzuki, Tyrone Mings and Johan Manzambi have been included after their 1-0 away win over Shearer's beloved Newcastle United.
