Jackson Chourio ties Babe Ruth for most hits in first 4 games of a World Series

With the Milwaukee Brewers holding a 3-2 lead in the top of the 12th inning Tuesday night, Jackson Chourio took the plate with a chance to put his name next to a legend’s.

He delivered.

Chourio hit a two-out double off of Rays reliever Ian Seymour. With that, he’d secured his 10th hit of the World Series. That hit tied Babe Ruth for the most hits by a one player in the first four games of a World Series.

Ruth’s record had stood alone since 1928.
