However, it wasn’t until the 2012-13 season that he started following Bayern Munich almost religiously, watching Bayern’s matches every Saturday at 7:30 a.m. For years, starting in 2019, he volunteered with proofreading and editing, before joining the team officially in 2021, and eventually mainly coordinating the postgame aspect on gamedays from around 2022.
Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has confirmed that star youngster Jamal Musiala is set to miss Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League game against Arsenal FC.
In an interview after the Bavarians’ 6-1 victory against RB Leipzig as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Eberl announced that Musiala is not ready for action yet, and the team will have to do without him. “It won’t be enough for Arsenal. He will slowly be eased back, but he will be back in October,” informed Eberl. The young superstar picked up a torn muscle fiber injury while on duty with the German national team on September during the most recent international break, and has missed Bayern’s last three games against FC Augsburg, Viking FK, and RB Leipzig.
Musiala joins winger Michael Olise on the list of absences for the Champions league bout, with the Frenchman set to miss due to suspension, after receiving a double yellow card on Bayern’s last UCL outing against Norwegian side Viking FK.
