She travelled as part of the England squad to the European Championships, along with three of her Beanland Taekwondo team-mates.
And the Keighley club represented their country in incredible fashion on the world stage, with Ling-Hegarty leading the way.
She claimed gold in the Sparring and Team Sparring categories, while also winning three silvers, in Tul, the ITFU Team Tul and the Open Team Tul.
Teenager Ling-Hegarty is one of the Bradford District’s brightest young sporting talents with her sponsors LCL, Living My Dream Creations and Win-Door Fit Ltd helping her get out to these major competitions.
She told us: "To be the first ever person to win four consecutive ITFU European titles at 16 years old isabsolutely insane,
"I trained hard for four months building up to the competition in Italy and Nico Earwaker helped me with my hand work at Switch Hitters in Keighley.
"Now it's time to focus on the World Championships next April, which take place in Lanzarote.
"I'm also starting my own class at Beanland Taekwondo next month for Under-7s and it’s a privilege to pass on what I know to the next generation."
Ling-Hegarty's Beanland team-mates did their country proud in Italy too.

Levi Morris performed superbly to win double gold, managing to do so in both Sparring and Tul.
James Waddington managed to claim six medals in total.
He got silver in Team Breaking, Team Sparring and Team Tul, while he earned bronze for his efforts in the individual Breaking, Sparring and Tul categories.
Mimi Campbell also did a wonderful job for Beanland, winning silver in Sparring and bronze in Tul.
Their coach, Master Chris Beanland, was there to accompany them in Italy.
Finally, Graham Cook, who also trains at the Keighley club, was at the tournament as an official umpire.
