The England captain, 33, took the game’s top individual honour last week after a record-breaking stint with the Bundesliga giants and has now recommitted to the club until June 2029.
Since arriving from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, Kane has scored a remarkable 156 goals in 161 appearances, winning two league titles and three domestic cups.

Reports suggest he will bank a weekly wage in excess of £400,000, a salary that would position him as the highest paid player in Europe before bonuses, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland the other leading earners.
Speaking after penning his new deal, he said: “I feel right at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich.
“We have a fantastic team and, in Vincent Kompany, a fantastic manager. It makes me very proud to be part of this club. My whole family is very happy here. I was keen to stay. I’m now looking forward to the future and I want to win many more titles with this great club.”
The move effectively ends the prospect of Kane returning to England to take on Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record of 260. Kane sits second having hit 213 for Tottenham and has previously been linked with a homecoming with Spurs as well as a move to Manchester United. By the end of his contract at the Allianz Arena, he will be almost 36.
Herbert Hainer, Bayern president, was thrilled to tie down the striker, adding: “What began as a major transfer has, over time, become a special chapter in FC Bayern’s history.
“Harry Kane lives up to every promise football has to offer and he has secured his place in the hearts of the fans as one of the greatest figures in the sport of our time. This is a special moment for FC Bayern today.”
Sporting director Christoph Freund said: “We’re absolutely delighted because with Harry Kane we have the Ballon d’Or winner on the pitch – a team player, a leader, the best all-round striker in the world.
“We all benefit from his qualities as a player and as a person, day in, day out. FC Bayern thrives on players who never stop giving their all, even when they have already achieved the greatest of goals.”
