No. 23 South Carolina football and LaNorris Sellers return to Williams-Brice Stadium searching for their fourth straight SEC win in Week 10.
The Gamecocks (5-4, 3-3 SEC) will host Texas A&M (4-4, 1-4) on Nov. 7 (3 p.m. ET, ESPN). A win would secure bowl eligibility for South Carolina, which did not meet the six-win threshold in 2025.
Back-to-back upsets of ranked Florida and Tennessee and a convincing road win over Oklahoma have the Gamecocks ranked in the AP poll for the first time this season. The Gamecocks were also ranked No. 21 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings.
Texas A&M did not play in Week 10. In Week 9, the Aggies had a three-point lead over then-No. 13 Alabama entering the fourth quarter before allowing 14 unanswered to the Crimson Tide, who won 31-20.
Last year, South Carolina held a 30-3 lead over the No. 3 Aggies at halftime in College Station before Texas A&M scored 28 unanswered second-half points for a 31-30 win.
Here is the Greenville News’ prediction for how the game will go.
South Carolina’s offense continued to roll against Oklahoma, even though it lost top running back Matt Fuller to injury in the first quarter. Sellers threw for 301 yards and accounted for five total touchdowns against an Oklahoma defense that entered the matchup as the top passing defense in the SEC.
Fuller needed surgery on his ankle and is likely out for the season, which places more pressure on Sellers to both orchestrate the passing game and lead the Gamecocks’ rushing attack.
Jabree Coleman rushed for 62 yards in place of Fuller, but Sellers ran for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
Texas A&M has the fourth-worst offense in the SEC. It ranks 15th in passing yardage, 10th in rushing yardage and has the second-worst yards per play mark.
Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed has thrown as many interceptions (8) as he has passing touchdowns and has completed 56.8% of his throws, a regression from 62.1% in 2025.
KJ Edwards, who was questionable on the Aggies' initial injury report, and Rueben Owens have combined for 692 rushing yards and three touchdowns as Texas A&M's running back tandem. Isaiah Horton leads the receiving effort with 314 yards and three touchdowns on 23 catches.
When Sellers does need to drop back and pass, the Texas A&M defensive front will likely have a hard time pressuring him. Texas A&M has seven sacks, the worst mark in the SEC.
Ball security has been an issue for the Gamecocks. They beat Oklahoma despite two interceptions from Sellers and one from backup Cutter Woods. South Carolina is 2-3 when it turns the ball over multiple times.
