Steph Curry had nothing but respect for Olivia Miles when the two finally met after the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Olivia Miles didn’t waste any time showing she belonged with the best. Running the floor in Minnesota, she took over the offense with so much poise that she wound up in the thick of the MVP conversation.

Off the court, she’s become a regular fixture around town, popping up courtside to support the Timberwolves and building real ties with the local sports scene. She backed all that buzz up in the gym, turning heads before the NBA season even tipped off by training alongside LaMelo Ball.

Rescheduling the WNBA Finals?! 😳 What do you make of this news?

Stephen Curry hands Olivia Miles a signed shirt

Steph Curry didn’t leave Target Center without showing some love to the Minnesota WNBA stars. After the final buzzer, he walked over and handed both Olivia Miles and Kayla McBride signed jerseys, completely catching them by surprise courtside.

When asked about it afterward, Steph laughed and admitted he had no idea they’d even be in the building, as well as cracking a joke about McBride hitting his own “Night Night”.

“Yeah, I watch all their games whenever I can. The idea of, they had a hell of a year. I know they didn’t end the way that they wanted it to, but the W as a whole is in such a great spot when it comes to talent across the league. Minnesota was a 1-seed that played well all year, and Olivia was an MVP candidate, which is crazy. Kayla breaking the three-point single-game record and all that. So, we were joking. She gave a Night Night in Ballhalla, which was bittersweet for me as a fan. I was like, that was pretty dope, but it was against our team, so we had some jokes about that.

“But I appreciate the talent and what they’re doing for the game, and being a fan of basketball all the way around. So, it was cool to, I didn’t know they were coming. It was cool to be able to meet for the first time.”
