Bayern Munich loanees were busy with most teams playing in cup fixtures midweek. Arijon Ibrahimović had a goal and an assist this week, while Bryan Zaragoza had an assist in both fixtures, and Felipe Chávez had an assist at the Allianz Arena. See how these matches went for these loanees and the others below:

FC Bayern Munich

Germany – Bundesliga

Arijon Ibrahimović is the only player on loan in the Bundesliga

Arijon Ibrahimović – FC Augsburg

Ibrahimović started on the bench Wednesday as Augsburg faced Sonnenhof Großaspach on the road. He came off the bench in the 65th minute with his team tied at 2-2 against the fourth-division side. Four minutes later, Ibrahimović scored the winning goal from well outside the box. He also received a yellow card for a bad foul in the 72nd minute. Augsburg added a fourth goal and held onto the 4-2 win to advance to the Round of 16, where they will be away to VfL Bochum.

Back in the league, Ibrahimović started for Augsburg at home against Freiburg on Saturday. He got the scoring started when he assisted the match’s opening goal in the 18th minute. On the day he had four shots — two on target, one off target, and one blocked — and created two chances for his teammates to shoot, including the assist. Despite his efforts, the match was tied 1-1 when he was subbed off in the 83rd minute. A few minutes later, Augsburg conceded another goal and fell 2-1 at home.

Augsburg travel to face RB Leipzig on Saturday.

Spain – LaLiga

Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga

Bryan Zaragoza – Espanyol

On Wednesday, Zaragoza started on the bench in Espanyol’s Copa del Ray fixture, away to lower-division Sestao. He came into the match in the 64 the minute with his down 2-1. They did not find an equalizer until a 90th minute penalty. The match went into extra time where Zaragoza assisted a goal in the 96th minute. Sestao found an equalizer two minutes later and then completed the upset with a goal in stoppage time of the second half of extra time.

Zaragoza started away to Villarreal in league play. He had two shots — one on target and one blocked — and one chance created for his teammates to shoot, which turned into another assist in the match’s only goal. He also received a yellow card for a foul before he was subbed off in the 77th minute. Espanyol held on to the slim lead and won 1-0 on the road.

Espanyol will host Deportivo A Coruña on Saturday.

Germany – 2. Bundesliga

Felipe Chávez is the only player on loan from the first team to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.

Felipe Chávez – 1. FC Magdeburg

Chávez started for Magdeburg when his loan club visited his parent club in the DFB-Pokal. After Olise opened the score for Bayern, Chávez assisted Magdeburg’s shock equalizer in the 15th minute. He also had a shot from close range in the 45th minute, but the would-be equalizer was saved at the brink of halftime. Chávez was subbed off in the 63rd minute with his team down 3-1. Bayern would run away in the final half hour and Magdeburg flew out of the tournament with a 6-1 loss.

Chávez started again for Magdeburg in their league match away to Darmstadt. In 70 minutes on the pitch he did not contribute much, failing to record a shot or a chance for his teammates to shoot in just 16 touches. Both teams scored in the first half but nobody found a winner, as Magdeburg took a point home after the 1-1 draw.

Magdeburg will host St Pauli on Sunday.

FC Bayern II

Germany – 2. Bundesliga

There are two players from the second team on loan to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga: Javier Fernández and Deniz Ofli.

Javier Fernández – 1. FC Nürnberg

Fernández started for Nürnberg on the road against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal. He had one shot — blocked — but had most of his contributions on defense. He had two tackles, two clearances, two blocked shots, an interception and six recoveries. Nürnberg went up 2-0 but could not sustain the lead. Fernández was subbed off in the 87th minute with his team down 4-2. Leverkusen scored another goal and eliminated Nürnberg with a 5-2 win.

Nürnberg bounced back with a trip to Hamburg to face St Pauli. Fernández started in the league match and played the full 90 minutes. He had one shot — off target — and again filled the defensive stat sheet. He had two tackles, five clearances, an interception, and one recovery. Nürnberg picked up a 3-1 win on the road.

Nürnberg will host SV Darmstadt on Saturday.

Deniz Ofli – Karlsruher SC

Ofli started for KSC in their DFB-Pokal match away to Borussia Mönchengladbach. He had a shot — just wide from outside the box — and created two chances for his teammates to shoot. He also had three clearances and two recoveries on the defensive side. Ofli had the most touches of anyone in the match. Despite his performance, Ofli was subbed off in the 87th minute down 2-0. Karlsruhe was unable to find a goal and was eliminated with the 2-0 loss.

Ofli started again as KSC hosted Heidenheim in the league play. He had one shot — on target — but did not create any chances for his teammates to shoot. On defense, he recorded three tackles, a clearance, and two recoveries. He was subbed out in the 59th minute with his team up 1-0. Both teams scored another goal, but KSC held on to win 2-1 at home.

Karlsruher SC will travel to face Bochum on Sunday.

Germany – 3. Liga

Richard Meier is the only player on loan to Germany’s 3. Liga.

Richard Meier – SV Meppen

Meier was on the bench for the start of Meppen’s league match against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Friday. He came off the bench in the 74th minute to a scoreless match. He was unable to help his team find a goal but they also were able to keep the shutout to earn a draw on the road.

Meppen will host Jahn Regensburg on Sunday.

Austria – Bundesliga

Magnus Dalpiaz is the only player on loan to Austria’s Bundesliga.

Magnus Dalpiaz – TSV Hartberg

Dalpiaz started and played the full duration of Hartberg’s Austrian Cup match away to Austria Wien. Stats are sparse for this match, but Dalpiaz had a yellow card for dissent in the 95th minute. Both teams scored a goal in the first half but neither could find a winner in the second half. The match went scoreless in extra time and went to penalties. Dalpiaz did not take a penalty but Hartberg scored all five attempts to move onto the next round.

Hartberg was on the road again in league play against Grazer AK. Dalpiaz started again and contributed on both sides of the ball. He had three shots — two on goal and one blocked — and created a chance for a teammate to shoot, which assisted Hartberg’s second goal in the 25th minute. He also had three tackles, four clearances — all with his head — an interception, and two recoveries. He was subbed out in the 80th minute with Hartberg up 4-0. The match ended with that score line to cap off Hartberg’s successful week.

Hartberg will host Altach on Sunday.

Spain – LaLiga2

Julien Yanda is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga2.

Yanda was not on the matchday squad for Eldense’s 1-0 win away to Atlético Baleares in the Copa del Rey. He returned to the bench for their 2-0 home loss in league play against Granada but did not make it onto the pitch.

Eldense will travel to take on Las Palmas on Sunday.

FC Bayern Frauen

Spain – Primera División Femenina

Anna Wellmann is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.

Wellmann started and played the full 90 minutes in goal for Eibar on the road against Valencia. She had two saves but let in two goals. Her teammates scored first but allowed two goals — one when the hosts were down to ten players — and missed a penalty deep into stoppage time. Despite the red card for Valencia in the 65th minute, Eibar scored just the one goal and fell 2-1 on the road.

Eibar will be on the road to Levante in the Copa de la Reina on Wednesday. They will return home in league play on Saturday against Real Sociedad.
