The 2026 NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and with 10 teams sitting at 2-5 or worse in the NFL standings, it’s very possible we see quite a few sellers this season. Not all of those struggling teams will end up trading talent away, but we do think there are a few clubs who would be better off shipping some of their key talent in the weeks to come.

Ahead of the NFL trade deadline, we’re highlighting five teams that should operate as full-on sellers and noting specific players each club should try and move.

Washington Commanders

It’s a matter of when, not if, Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn is fired. That’s the only move general manager Adam Peters has to make to preserve his own job. With that domino likely to fall in the next few months and contending with this Commanders roster next to impossible, shipping off veterans is the only avenue to long-term improvements as long as Peters hits on his draft picks. The Commanders should trade veteran cornerback Amik Robertson along with edge rushers Dorance Armstrong and K’Lavon Chaisson; there is no shortage of playoff-caliber teams who need defensive help. We’d also advise Washington to trade Stefon Diggs, cornerback Rasul Douglas, and defensive tackle Daron Payne. Maybe there’s even a club in need of a vertical threat who will do a Day 3 pick swap for Dyami Brown. If the player doesn’t have a long-term future with Washington, find out if there is a willing buyer.

Philadelphia Eagles

This blew up in the face of Howie Roseman so quickly. He won’t go to the lengths we’d consider at the 2026 NFL trade deadline to tear down this roster and start a rebuild, namely a DeVonta Smith trade and seeing what teams might offer up for left tackle Jordan Mailata. It does, however, make sense to see if a team with Super Bowl aspirations believes Saquon Barkley is the piece their offense is missing. Many of the upcoming Eagles free agents in 2027–Dallas Goedert, Moro Ojomo, Kelee Ringo, and Riq Woolen–should also be put on the trade block. Perhaps there would even be suitors for Landon Dickerson, Dontayvion Wicks, and Nolan Smith Jr. The one thing we do have confidence in would be Roseman’s ability to use the draft picks he acquires to overhaul this Eagles roster.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers are the only winless team remaining in the NFL. Just as surprising as that, upcoming games against the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans mean an 0-8 record is squarely on the table before the NFL trade deadline. Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz needs to just rip the band-aid off and deal some veterans and underperforming players. Cornerback Donte Jackson and edge rusher Khalil Mack are the likeliest to be moved, but we think NFL teams will also have interest in defensive lineman Teair Tart, edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu (NFL free agent in 2027), and linebackers Daiyan Henley and Troy Dye. Los Angeles could also see what the market is for wide receiver Quentin Johnston, rather than paying him his fully guaranteed salary in 2027, and potentially trade either running back Keaton Mitchell or Kimani Vidal.

Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals won’t make a better trade all year than the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade with the Houston Texans. That move should, however, convince Monti Ossenfort to look around at a few other deals. Start with giving edge rusher Josh Sweat the trade he’s coveted since the offseason, especially since he’d arguably be the best pass rusher available. The Cardinals could also dangle nose tackle Roy Lopez and running back Tyler Allgeier. It may also be in the club’s best interest to bite the bullet and start rookie Carson Beck for the rest of the season, keeping Gardner Minshew as his backup if there’s a team out there that would give up a mid-round pick for Jacoby Brissett to be its starter. We would not, however, consider a Budda Baker trade.

Tennessee Titans

We’ve seen 24 games from Cam Ward as a starting quarterback; that’s enough to at least fairly say he isn’t the long-term guy for the Tennessee Titans. If you can feel confident saying that, then there shouldn’t be any pause about trading away players who would otherwise help a front office evaluate if Ward can be the long-term answer. For us, that means trading starting running back Tony Pollard. If there was any semblance of a market for veteran wideout Calvin Ridley, we’d encourage trading him. Defensively, Tennessee should keep Jeffery Simmons as long as he doesn’t request a trade. The Titans should, however, shop Jermaine Johnson, Alontae Taylor, Amani Hooker, and Cody Barton.
