Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young seems to be dealing with a new injury.
Young remained on the team's injury report, where he's been since Week 4, here at the start of Week 9. The fourth-year passer was estimated as a full participant with an ankle injury, different from his previous knee injury.
Between the mounting sacks he's taken as well as his dip in scrambles of late, Young was asked how serious his knee issue had been.
"I'm good," he told reporters on Tuesday. "I'm capable of doing everything for the team. It's football. I don't think you can ask anyone across the league who's been playing if they feel, if they're not having something. Again, that's part of the game."
Other than Young, Carolina listed four players as non-participants—including left guard Damien Lewis (knee) and outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips. Both Lewis and Phillips did not play in the Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
