Thunder poach Warriors G-League guard after exceptional preseason

Former Golden State Warriors Exhibit 10 signee Dalen Terry signed a two-year, standard contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Terry, who never suited up in an official NBA game for Golden State, was set to play for the Santa Cruz Warriors after an impressive preseason. In his best matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, Terry nearly posted a triple-double, finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and four steals. Now, Terry is set to join the Thunder, who needed to make a move after being hit with unfortunate injury luck to key contributors like Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren.

Terry, who is still only 24 years old, has four seasons of NBA experience between the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers. In 218 games between the two franchises, the former Arizona guard holds career averages of 3.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.5 steals.
