ENNISKILLEN senior women moved to the top of the All-Ireland League table with a 12-5 victory over Cooke.
Trailing 5-0 at the interval, Enniskillen responded impressively after the break, with Zara Flack getting the comeback underway following some excellent handling across the back line.
Sophie Meeke and Moya Hill made strong carries before Flack finished superbly in the corner from 30 metres. Eve Balfour added the conversion to put the home side in front.
Enniskillen extended their advantage in the 47th minute when Leah Irwin crossed from the 22-metre line, following excellent handling from new New Zealand signing Annika Nortje.
Impressive display
It was an outstanding all-round team performance, with every player contributing to a determined and hard-working display.
Orlaith Maguire was deservedly named Player of the Match after an excellent performance, highlighted by her defensive work and powerful ball-carrying.
Enniskillen were also without India Daley and Sophie Barrett, who are currently in South Africa representing Ireland as part of the squad for the WXV Global Series.
Their selection is a fantastic achievement and just reward for the hard work, commitment and dedication they have shown.
The victory moves Enniskillen to the top of the league standings on 12 points, setting up a crucial meeting with second-placed MU Barnhall on Saturday at Mullaghmeen at 5pm.
