How to watch every Rugby League World Cup semi-final this week including England v Australia

The Rugby League World Cup semi-finals are now upon us, and here is how to watch every match from the comfort of your own home.

There is set to be some pulsating action taking place over the next few days, as some of the world’s best players go at it for a place in the World Cup Final.

Semi-final matches from the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions will transpire between Saturday and Tuesday, and it starts with an eagerly-anticipated Women’s clash between New Zealand and Samoa.

The Kiwi Ferns topped their group as they picked up three wins from three, defeating Fiji, Papua New Guinea and France. They will face Samoa, who placed second in Pool A, defeating England in week three to claim the final four spot.

Following that, the New Zealand men’s side will take on Tonga in what could be one of the games of the season. Both teams are in hot form, have aggressive packs and fire in the outside backs. Be sure to not miss that one – it should be a cracker!

Moving on to Sunday, it’s Australia’s turn to host a double header with the Jillaroos taking on Fiji in perhaps the only game of the weekend that isn’t expected to be close.

The Aussie Women made light work of Samoa, England and Wales in the group stages, and have conceded just one try in the last three weeks.

The out-of-form Kangaroos then take on Samoa in a repeat of the last World Cup Final. They won every game, Australia, but they haven’t looked particularly comfortable in any of them. One thing we know about Australia, though, is that they don’t know they are beaten, and will always find a way to get themselves over the line.

Moving on to the wheelchair competition, and all eight teams still have something to play for, with the teams now splitting into a top four and bottom four.

The top four will progress to the semi-finals, with 1st in Pool A taking on second in Pool B, and vice versa. The bottom four will compete for the ‘World Cup bowl’, with 3rd in Pool A taking on 4th in Pool B, and vice versa.

Taking place across Monday and Tuesday, England will play Australia and France will host Ireland in the semi-finals, while Wales face New Zealand and Scotland take on USA in the ‘Bowl’ competition.
