Rangers star Kim Minsu has been named in South Korea's Under 21s squad instead - after he was ditched from their full squad.
The Ibrox ace made his international debut for his country last month and played in three friendlies against Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela and was an unused sub against Uzbekistan.
But that wasn't enough to see him included in South Korea's latest squad for their games against Qatar and Saudi Arabia later this month.
However, he has now been included in their Under 21s squad for two friendlies against Mexico. The squad doubles as South Korea's Olympic team for the football section of the Games in two years' time in Los Angeles.

South Korea Under 21s boss Kim Eun-joong said: "This is a good opportunity to gain practical experience against a strong team Mexico. We will identify areas for improvement and take our competitiveness up a level."
Kim will travel to his homeland for the two games against the Mexicans at Cheonan on November 14 and a rematch against the same opponents three days later at the same venue.
