Ryan Gravenberch has been ruled out of Liverpool's travelling squad for their Champions League clash against Fenerbahce on Wednesday after sustaining a heel injury, the club reported on Tuesday morning.

According to Liverpool FC reporter James Pierce, the 24-year-old was already struggling with the injury prior to the weekend which is why he had received no minutes during the Red's loss to Arsenal.

Instead, the Dutch midfielder will remain at the AXA Training Centre where he will undergo treatment with the club's medical team.

BBC Sport has reported that the 19-year-old starlet Trey Nyoni, who made his first Premier League start against the Gunners on Sunday, is set to receive more minutes to cover for his teammate at the Chobani Stadyumu in Istanbal this Wednesday.

Liverpool travelling squad: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Jacquet, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Munoz, Mamardashvili, Woodman, Barcola, Araujo, Nyoni, Chambers, McConnell, Koumas, Ngumoha, Danns.
