A final 3,000 tickets have been released for the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round three in Kelvingrove Park, as fans have already snapped up 12,000 tickets for the event on Sunday, December 13.
This follows on from an initial release of 10,000 tickets selling out, with 2,000 more being added in the last month.
That next release then quickly sold out, which organisers say shows the continued demand for world-class events in Scotland, and underlines Glasgow’s reputation as a prime destination capable of attracting major events.

Darren Henry, Managing Director of British Cycling Ventures, commented on the final ticket release, “We are pleased to announce the final release of 3,000 tickets, as we look to welcome 15,000 passionate cycling fans to Glasgow.
"The response so far has been fantastic and reflects the excitement surrounding the return of a UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup to the UK, and Glasgow’s reputation for hosting world-class events.
"The event will bring tens of thousands of visitors to the city, creating a real sense of occasion, while supporting local businesses and showcasing the best of Glasgow to an international audience.”

Fans descending on Glasgow can also look forward to a day filled with competitive and enthralling action, as three premier races will be held, with a junior race today being announced as the opening contest of the day.
The junior race will start at 11:00, with the open and women’s categories running concurrently, and entries are now open here. The elite women’s and men’s races will then follow separately after.
The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round three will continue Glasgow’s proud tradition of hosting world-class sporting competitions and builds on the success of recent cycling events in Scotland, such as the final stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men which saw thousands of fans line the streets of Earlston.
The event will not only create a memorable day out for visitors but will also inspire more people to engage with the sport and help strengthen cycling’s presence in communities across Scotland.
