Being a quarterback in the NFL is the toughest job in sports. It requires a mental skill set that no other position in sports requires, not to mention the physical toll it takes, and it leads to players fizzling out and losing starting jobs quite often.
Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon looked over the starting quarterbacks in the NFL at the moment to see who could be at risk of losing their job and when. One of the quarterbacks discussed was Cleveland Browns starter Deshaun Watson.
Gagnon predicts he could be replaced as the starter by Week 14, writing, "...simply because Cleveland will likely have slid out of contention by then. If Watson hasn't bounced back by December, a relatively safe home date with Atlanta provides an ideal spot to evaluate Sanders before the front office faces major offseason decisions."
Watson seems to have complete support of the coaching staff and the team after his hot start. It is hard to imagine him being benched ever, but a lot of football remains.
