India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI match has been going on at the Hnry Stadium, Wellington. The Kiwis have once again had a poor performance with the bat as they were bowled out for 134 runs. During the first innings of the game, Gurnoor Brar and Daryl Mitchell had a heated conversation between them, as the India pacer was all pumped up.
Shubman Gill’s side is already leading 0-1 in the series; the Men in Blue won the T20I series as well, and they now look firmly in control of the ODI series, with an inexperienced bowling attack doing well. Gill’s side is already marching towards another win and taking a 0- 2 lead in the series.
The incident happened in the 33.4th over when Gurnoor Brar bowled a fullish ball to Daryl Mitchell and the batter sliced towards point. The pacer then had his arm on his head and went up to the batter and had a few words. It was not very friendly either. Mitchell seemed to say something along the lines of, "You have only played three games."

Soon, on the next ball, which was a length delivery from Gurnoor Brar outside off, Mitchell left the ball and, again, in the follow-through from Gurnoor towards the batter, he clapped and said, "Well, left." This was not friendly banter either; the batter did not have much to reply, as on the next ball he took a single.
Gurnoor Brar has been excellent in the match, as he became the second bowler in this series to pick four wickets in a match after Arshdeep Singh, who did it in the first ODI match. The Punjab-based pacer was brilliant in the first innings with the pace and bounce he got from the pitch, and troubled the Kiwi batters.
Gurnoor finished with the spell of 4/30 in his 10 overs as he was consistent with his line and length. He has come up well in this series as he has picked 7 wickets and has been the leading wicket-taker in the series so far, and will look to pick more wickets in the upcoming games of the series.
Coming to the match, India won the toss and opted to bowl first; they played the same team. The Men in Blue had a sensational start, as they dismissed Tim Seifert for a duck; Henry Nicholls also followed quickly as they were reduced to 29/3 at one stage. Tom Latham’s poor form also continued as he was out for 7 runs.
In-form Glenn Phillips was dismissed for a duck, as Daryl Mitchell held one end as he played a knock of 55 runs off 104 deliveries, and captain Mitchell Santner scored 31 runs off 38 deliveries. As they were bowled out for 134 runs, Brar picked four wickets, and Auqib Nabi, Anshul Kamboj, and Axar Patel picked two wickets each.
While chasing, India lost Shubman Gill (0) and Virat Kohli (7) early, with Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer are at the crease and building on in the innings.
