The Tigers shocked Manchester United on the opening day and, despite being winless in five matches, will believe they can upset Andrews’ men at the MKM Stadium.

The Bees sit in sixth despite suffering their first loss of the season in a 2-1 reverse against Liverpool last weekend, and know a win could take them up to fourth.

Andrews said: “It’s a proper test. They have a belief they can absolutely compete at this level. They've produced some really good performances; they've been in every single game they've played and we're at the end of October. That says everything about where they are.

“It's very evident that they have a togetherness and honesty about the group.

“They've got some very, very experienced players that have been in the league before, and they've got players that are there for the first time that want to enjoy the journey. The way they play the game and the way they're organised is very impressive.”

Captain Nathan Collins remains sidelined with a calf injury, while midfielders Mathias Jensen and Yehor Yarmoliuk are both suspended after receiving red cards against Liverpool.

Last season’s second-top goalscorer in the Premier League, Igor Thiago, looks set to lead the line once again, and appears eager to add to his one goal so far this season.

“We constantly need to evolve how we are playing and how we are creating chances,” Andrews said.

“Thiago at the moment is a very marked man. We've got goalscorers throughout the team. Thiago being Thiago wants to score more goals and he's certainly not far away.

“We are always quite adaptable and have to be flexible in how and why we do things. We'll find that balance between what we have, where players are with their game, and how we can try to exploit what Hull show to find the gameplan that works.”

The clash with Hull will kick off at 2pm on Sunday.
