Auston Trusty and Oliver Sorensen have been included, with Liam Scales and Benjamin Nygren missing out.

O'Neill explained to club media that Nygren had still been suffering from illness since returning from international duty with Sweden. He said: "For instance, Sorensen, I want to see him. He's got good running power.

"Nygren has had a bit of a virus way back from Sweden. He had to end his [international break] early. He did really well for us on Sunday. Scales is so important to us anyway.

"I'm sure both of those will be on the field at some stage this evening as well too.

"We've just changed things around a little bit, but not that much."

O'Neill is eager to see Celtic play an attacking game in Lisbon to enhance their chances of progressing to the Europa League knockout stages.

He added: "I want to embrace it. I really want to go for it. These are nights that you spend the season trying to be in. Our ambition is still strongly to try and qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

"There'll be moments where we'll be under severe pressure, but there'll be moments when we will have the ball, and it's just a matter of having confidence."

He concluded with a rallying call to his players: "Let's show what Celtic are made of."
