Celtic Park enjoyed itself on Sunday afternoon, and who could blame it?
After the noise around Celtic’s European form, this was a ruthless answer.

The big calls worked. Kasper Høgh dropped to the bench, Camilo Duran started through the middle, and Callum Osmand was handed his first start.
By half-time, Celtic were 5-1 up.
Kieran Tierney opened the scoring before Benjamin Nygren made it two. Osmand then struck twice, with Jamie McCart’s own goal adding to Hearts’ misery before the break. Laurent Mendy pulled one back for the visitors, but it did little to change the feel of the afternoon.
Duran added Celtic’s sixth after the restart, before Nygren scored again late on to make it seven.
And if the scoreline was not painful enough for Hearts, Celtic Park appeared to enjoy one final dig after full-time.
The song “Love Is Falling Apart” was played over the stadium speakers, a clear nod to the familiar chant of “Hearts are falling apart again” that has followed the Tynecastle club in recent years.
It was the kind of post-match needle supporters love.

By full-time, that looked a hard sell.
Celtic were faster, sharper and far more clinical. Hearts tried to play open football, but they left themselves exposed and were punished over and over again.
The playlist choice only added to the humiliation.
On the pitch, Celtic did the real damage. Off it, the stadium sound system landed the final punch.
