Goal celebrations for Will Aimson of Salford City

That's a wrap. Was it a treat or do you feel like you've been tricked?

Well, should you survive the night of horrors and ghouls and ghosts, we aren't quite done in the EFL this weekend.

Tomorrow sees Sheffield Wednesday look for a first win in three to climb towards the promotion battle against a Blackpool side in an uncomfortable position down at the other end of the table.

It kicks off at 14:00 GMT and as always, we will be there to take you through all the action. See you then? I should think so... or else.

It’s like a keep-ball session at the minute.

Mansfield look like they don’t know what to do when Notts have the ball.

It looks like they’ve gone for a front four and they’re throwing the kitchen sink at it, the game’s become really open.

It’s absolutely nothing more than they deserve.

Louis Reed with a really careless ball across his box. It’s trick or treat night tonight and that’s an absolute treat for Daniel Kanu.

Daniel Kanu with his first goal from open play after his penalty last week, doubles the lead.

There was an interesting atmosphere in the home stands here before the second half.

Frustration at going a goal down, but they know Salford have come back from not scoring first before.

But Exeter City seem less vulnerable defensively than maybe other sides that have come here so far. Everything to play for.

At the half-time break, there was a somewhat subdued and mystified response from the Stockport faithful.

In a sense, their team did nothing wrong. They created lots of chances - two big ones from top-scorer Kyle Wootton and Jack Diamond - had 80% possession and, essentially, posed all the danger in this match.

And yet, none of those chances were on target. Could I describe them as gilt-edged chances... no? It's been a tad tepid, I suppose.

Stockport look like exactly what they are - a very good team just not quite clicking.

Wimbledon are just hanging in there essentially. But as long as it remains goalless, you never know.

Sheer quality, what a strike, what a goal. He'd only been on the pitch two minutes had Callum Roberts.

Liam Roberts in the Mansfield goal could only stand and watch.

Goal of the season contender.

Foxes skipper John Lunsdstram is back from his one-match suspension and getting stuck in.

He whistles off a shot from outside the box but Tommy Setford does brilliantly to tip it out for a corner.

The Boro keeper is then put back into action after Harry Souttar's nod goes goalbound.

Less than 15 minutes in and the hosts have already put three shots on target.

The plaudits for Salford City read like those reviews you see on a five-star movie poster.

“That’s the best performance I’ve ever seen from Salford,” opined co-owner Gary Neville after watching Monday’s Walsall win.

“A fantastic squad. Such a well put together team,” says today’s opposing manager, Exeter City’s Matt Taylor.

The Ammies are looking for their eighth league win in a row and are scoring for fun.

But sometimes they leave the back door open and give their fans a bit of a Halloween-style scare during games.

Maybe if Exeter City pick up some early goals their improving defence could spook Salford, who are looking for their first win against their visitors.

There's a cool, crisp autumnal feel about Edgeley Park today. This is a glorious old-fashioned stadium - no frills, but you don't want them anyway, do you?

This a curious match in a way - one team at the top-of-the-table who's form has dropped off, versus one of the division's biggest strugglers towards the bottom.

Stockport - having won four in a row and charging to the summit of League One, are winless in two. Jimmy McNulty, their manager, has made four changes to turn things around. Drop points again and Huddersfield have a decent gap between them and the rest, and other teams will leapfrog The Hatters in second.

Wimbledon, meanwhile, are seven without a win and just can't score. They've managed eight all season and have 11 in 21 games since March. Johnnie Jackson, given hope by a 1-1 draw against Wycombe last time out, names an unchanged team.

This is the big test, when you come up aginst a good Huddersfield team in a derby, test your desire and character.

Sometimes when you think you're a good team you get a bloody nose. Town have come here and done a good job, they've weathered the storm with quality going forward.

Defending has been really poor from Bradford, but you've got to punish that. It's been a really good afternoon for Huddersfield Town.

Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Unlike a lot of wingers Sanches Fernandes leans into the player, a little nudge and uses his strength to put him off.

He gets underneath people's skin, nicks it off them and before they know it he's off and away and the ball's in the back of the net.

Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

Lack of quality, lack of determination to put your foot through the ball.

It was a strange time to make the substitutions [at half-time] because City were on the front foot.

[They need] a bit of drive and determination and put Huddersfield under pressure, the quality is lacking.

Can they produce a little bit of quality to get back into this game?

Astonishing start to the second half.

Sir Patrick Stewart's beloved Terriers have gone into warp drive. Those two quick goals have knocked the stuffing out of the Bantams.

Can they cling on to this derby?

Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

The start of both halves unbelievable, the quality from Sanches Fernandes there.

He just keeps the pressure on the Bradford City defender, doesn't give him a second.

So many mistakes on the way to the goal but so much quality from Sanches Fernandes as well.

And then with one-on-one situations he doesn't miss.

Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

That was a good strike, [Low] just throws his body in the way, his big frame.

Done that a few times today.

Mumba's got to get further up this left-hand side, got to drag this pitch as wide as he possibly can, get Bradford to think about him.

Joe Low had more space than he would have expected from what is, usually, a very mean Bradford defence.

It silenced the large home crowd for several minutes, but Bradford have responded well.

It's fiery. It's lively. The early goal has raised the temperature.

We have lift-off at Blundell Park!

It's a great cross from Cameron McJannet from the left wing to find the head of veteran Andy Cook at the back post.

He leaps and nods it home, just like he has done for all these years, to get his 4th of the season.

Plymouth Argyle XI

Malachi Boateng and Mathias Ross both return to the squad from injury to take a place on the bench for Plymouth Argyle.

Boateng hasn't featured since August with a knee injury, while Ross has missed out on the past three games with an infected foot.

Joe Edwards returns to the starting line-up and dons the armband but Matthew Sorinola misses out with a knee issue. Goalkeeper Murphy Cooper is also absent for personal reasons.

It means 22-year-old James Storer will make his League One debut between the sticks.

Reading make a triple change from their win over Barnsley as Josh Knight makes his league debut for the side.

Jamie Reid also starts alongside Randell Williams making his first league start of the season to replace the injured Paddy Lane.

Haydon Roberts and Jacob Brown move to the bench.

What a box of treats this league table this is shaping up to be...

In the lunchtime kick-offs, Port Vale have the chance to climb out of the drop zone with a win at home to Rochdale.

York could find themselves closer to the summit of League Two with three points away to Grimsby.

But come 15:00 GMT, Salford will be in action hoping to secure an eighth win on the bounce when they face Exeter.

Could the Grecians do Barnet a favour? It would be Halloween to remember.
