West Ham United have already lost Konstantinos Mavropanos for at least a couple of weeks. Mavropanos is sidelined with a knee problem, albeit things are not as bad as they initially seemed. Joel Veltman appears likely to miss the visit of West Brom too.
But Jarrod Bowen is available. Or at least he appears to be.
“We have some doubts, some players who are still in contention who need evaluating. There is a situation with Dinos, Joel and Keiber [Lamadrid],” Nuno said during his press conference. “It’s Dinos’ knee. We were concerned about the injury, but thankfully it’s not as serious as we thought. Let’s see. Dinos is a very important player for us.
“Jarrod twisted his ankle in training, but he’s been with us today and he seems OK.”
Bowen has started every one of West Ham’s 12 Championship games so far. The skipper has six goals and five assists to his name.
