A former Barcelona forward has broken his silence, slamming Hansi Flick for what he sees as unnecessarily harsh discipline.

Managers across Europe constantly push their squads to the absolute limit, demanding levels of intensity that leave players exhausted, drained, and searching for recovery.

When a player finds themselves under the microscope of a demanding coaching regime, the friction between intense expectations and daily reality can spark major conversations about player management and the sheer toll exacted by top-flight football.

Former Barcelona forward Pau Víctor has lashed out at Hansi Flick over what he describes as poor, punishing treatment during training sessions, openly criticizing the German coach’s brutal physical methods, as reported by LiveScore.

Speaking out about his turbulent time at Camp Nou, the young attacker revealed the extreme measures demanded by the technical staff, admitting that the workload often crossed the line into exhaustion.

Víctor did not hold back when describing the physical toll of those sessions, noting that the intensity was so relentless that he regularly left the training ground feeling dizzy and completely drained.

The forward highlighted how grueling the environment was, pointing to instances where players were left lying flat on the turf, gasping for air as the coaching staff drove them past ordinary limits.

The scathing remarks shed light on the darker side of Flick’s tenure, contrasting sharply with the polished image usually projected by the Catalan club.

While Flick has often been praised for his tactical discipline and high-pressing machine, this explosive critique exposes a rift regarding how squad members are handled behind the scenes.

As the fallout from these remarks ripples across the footballing world, it raises serious questions about player welfare and whether such extreme methods are truly sustainable for maintaining a harmonious dressing room at the highest level.
