After deciding late that he wanted a career in sports journalism, Daniel worked his way up the ladder in an unconventional manner.
Having opted against university, Daniel worked with Sky Sports as a freelance contributor and translator during transfer windows while also volunteering on several other blog pages and outlets to get a portfolio of content together.
Daniel then worked with Barnet FC as part of their social media team before starting his own website, which focused on football and MMA content.
That eventually led to work with 90min and Reach PLC with The Mirror, Daily Record, Daily Express, and Manchester Evening News.
Following that, Daniel spent two-and-a-half years with Breaking Media covering Everton, Rangers, Leeds, West Ham and other clubs before joining GiveMeSport as a Premier League editor.
As well as football, Daniel is a huge MMA fan and has appeared on YouTube and podcast content too.

Liverpool are in the market to bolster their midfield options in 2027, and the club are looking closely at some top stars who can come in and make an immediate impact.
Monaco star Lamine Camara has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield after his move to Chelsea collapsed in the summer, and the club has contacted his representatives to let them know they were keen on a move.
Now, it has emerged that Bournemouth star Alex Scott is someone the club are very keen on, and a January transfer is now potentially on the table, after the Cherries opened the door to an exit for around £100m following talks with the player, who has made it clear that he isn't interested in renewing his contract.
The England international impressed on international duty under Thomas Tuchel this month, but he suffered a quadriceps injury which is likely to rule him out for up to eight weeks. But his talent is still there for all to see, and Liverpool are among the clubs showing interest.
But alongside Camara and Scott, Liverpool are ensuring that they look at all possible options. Ryan Gravenberch has struggled this season, with his best performance coming against Man City before he was sent off, while Alexis Mac Allister's future is far from secure, Dominik Szoboszlai and Florian Wirtz are battling for the number ten spot, and youngster Trey Nyoni has impressed when given the chance.
A new midfield signing who can make an immediate impact is needed, and it has emerged once again that Liverpool are leading the race for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.
During the summer, GIVEMESPORT reported that the Reds showed big interest in holding midfielder Wharton, but Crystal Palace closed the door on any potential exit after losing Oliver Glasner and Maxence Lacroix, having previously lost Marc Guehi in January too.
But manager Pierre Sage has all but confirmed a move in 2027, bringing Andoni Iraola's side back into the mix for his signature.
"We did it [sell big players] and now I think it's not the moment to do that. I think he is able to play at another club, at a big club here or anywhere in Europe, but I think one year with us, one year with a new dynamic, will be good for him and we need him. That's why I think he will stay with us.
"We will see, and I hope he continues his improvement and he has other arguments to leave. That’s why we work every day and that's why he gives his best every day too."
Liverpool's midfield has seen some recurring issues this season, with all the players in the middle of the pitch more attack-minded, which has led to them having problems in transition.
Scott is a terrific young midfielder, but he is at his best when on the ball and going forward, and while he would be a brilliant signing, he wouldn't be solving any of the issues that the Spanish boss is currently dealing with.
Wharton would step into the midfield and make the number six position his own. On the ball, he would arguably be the team's best player. His passing is marvellous; he has the legs to carry the team forward, and also cover ground to win the ball back. But he is happy to sit deeper, which would free up the more attack-minded players to push on a bit more.
If Liverpool are looking at spending over £100m on a midfielder for the squad, then they should look no further than Premier League-proven, and ready to improve even more, Adam Wharton.
