FC Bayern will host RB Leipzig on Saturday evening for a top Bundesliga matchup. We’ll show you where to watch the game live on TV and via live stream.

FC Bayern’s Bundesliga campaign continues on Saturday. On Matchday 6, Vincent Kompany’s team will host RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.

The Munich side heads into this top match on the heels of two consecutive draws. First, FC Bayern could not manage more than a 2-2 draw at FC Augsburg, followed a few days later by a 3-3 draw against Viking Stavanger in the Champions League.

The match in Norway was particularly bitter. After falling behind 0–2, Bayern turned the game around to lead 3–2 at one point, but after Michael Olise was sent off, they had to concede a late equalizer.

RB Leipzig, on the other hand, heads to Munich on the back of a victory. The Saxons secured a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, with Brajan Gruda scoring the decisive goal.

Bayern Aims to Get Back on Track

On the field, FC Bayern is definitely under pressure to secure another win after their two most recent draws.

In the 2-2 draw against Augsburg, the Munich team had to settle for a single point despite numerous scoring chances. In Stavanger as well, Kompany’s team subsequently let a potential victory slip away.

Thus, the match against Leipzig offers the opportunity to put an immediate end to this brief slump in results.

var d=e.data||{};
if(d.type===’FOOTY_WIDGET_HEIGHT’&&typeof d.height===’number‘){iframe.style.height=d.height+’px‘;}
});
})();

The Saxons, however, are likely to arrive with confidence. The victory over Eindhoven was important not only because of the result but also in light of the difficult task ahead in Munich.

Leipzig coach Martin Demichelis adds an extra layer of intrigue to the match. The former Bayern pro will be facing his old club.
