Weather has wreaked havoc on the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians American League Championship Series schedule all week.
After having the start time for Game 3 moved up to avoid inclement weather and then Game 4 postponed last night, the two teams will finally get back on the diamond in Cleveland on Saturday, Oct. 17.
What was originally supposed to be Game 5 will now be Game 4 with first pitch set for 7 p.m. It could be the first of four straight days of playing without the luxury of a day off if the series goes back to Tampa and the distance.
No rain is in the forecast for Saturday night's Game 4 at Progressive Field. It will just be cold with temperatures in the 40s.
The Guardians lead the series, 2-1, after winning Game 3 over 48 hours ago.
There are no changes to the Game 4 pitchers despite the schedule change. Tampa Bay will continue to go with 15-game winner Nick Martinez, while the Guardians are having a bullpen game with Shawn Armstrong taking the mound first.
