The race to sign Jadon Sancho is heating up with two more clubs putting their name in the hat as the winger is forced to consider his future.
Sancho’s arrival at Manchester United in 2021 signalled optimism and ambition for the future, but the winger was not able to deliver either of those values.
Loan spells at Chelsea and Aston Villa brought his United career to an end, with him leaving the Red Devils at the end of last season.
Since that moment, one key question has remained: where would Sancho go next?
Getafe have already expressed interest with President Angel Torres confirming negotiations between themselves and the 26-year-old.
That has not prevented the interest of other clubs, though, with former club Borussia Dortmund linked with a move whilst Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad were also rumoured to be interested.
Sokoor Al Arab and Arabian Falcons have now both set their sights on a move for Jadon Sancho, according to Spanish outlet AS, with the two clubs joining the race for the winger.
Both sides currently play in the second division of the UAE league although are attempting to build an ambitious platform for success in the future.
Sancho, naturally, has been identified as a possible part of that platform although it remains unclear whether either club can fend off the interest of Getafe.
With this race coming to a critical stage, it is now decision time for Sancho and his team.
The winger has a choice to make between two completely new countries.
Selecting Spain, and Getafe, could provide the 26-year-old with an opportunity to impress other clubs in LaLiga and build his career back up.
Moving to the UAE would likely be a long-term project, on the other hand, but could be just the thing that Sancho needs to crown his professional career.
Different advantages. Differing countries. All focus is now on Jadon Sancho to see who he selects.
