FSU softball announces 2027 schedule

The FSU softball team has revealed its schedule for the 2027 season. The Seminoles are set to play 55 regular-season games, including 26 at JoAnne Graf Field, and will participate in five regular-season tournaments.

They will once again face several tough programs, with 13 of their opponents making the NCAA Tournament last season. They will begin the season on Feb. 11 against the JMU Dukes in the inaugural Sarasota Classic at the newly constructed 17th Street Regional Sports Complex. They will play Baylor on Feb. 12, before a doubleheader against Texas State and Alabama on Feb. 13. Their final game will be against Ohio State on Feb. 14.

The home opener will be against the FAMU Rattlers on Feb. 25, part of the JoAnne Graf Classic. They will also play Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, and Southern Illinois in the tournament, which will last until Feb. 28.

They will play Alabama a second time, heading to Tuscaloosa to compete in the Tournament of Champions from March 12-14. They will play Fresno State twice, Cal State Fullerton once, and end the tournament against the Crimson Tide.

FSU will open ACC play against North Carolina on March 19-21 in Chapel Hill. Their first home ACC series will be against the Stanford Cardinal on March 26-28.

The Seminoles will also play Cal, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia, and Duke in conference play. They will host the Florida Gators on April 21 and travel to Gainesville on April 28 for their annual rivalry meetings.
