Eagles face mounting injury concerns ahead of Monday night vs. Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles listed six players as nonparticipants Friday, with Jonathan Greenard taking a step backward and several key offensive weapons remaining sidelined ahead of Monday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Greenard, who was listed as limited Thursday with an ankle injury, did not practice Friday. He joined outside linebacker Nolan Smith (concussion), wide receivers DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) and defensive back Michael Carter (abdomen).

The receiving injuries complicate preparations for Tanner McKee, who completed 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions against Carolina. Wicks has 19 receptions for 284 yards and a touchdown this season, making his availability another significant concern for an offense trying to end Philadelphia’s four-game losing streak.

Saquon Barkley remained listed as limited with a hamstring injury after missing the past two games. Barkley has rushed for 182 yards on 36 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per attempt through four appearances. His return would give Philadelphia an important option against Dallas, though Friday’s participation won't settle his game availability.

Landon Dickerson was listed as limited for a second consecutive day with knee and pectoral injuries. The left guard dinged his pectoral muscle during Thursday’s practice, adding another issue as Philadelphia attempts to stabilize its offensive line.

Center Drew Kendall moved from limited to full participation despite a knee injury. Willie Lampkin returned from an illness but was listed as limited, while Fred Johnson was added to the report as limited because of an illness.

AJ Epenesa, Jalyx Hunt, Moro Ojomo and Tyler Steen also remained limited. Philadelphia has another practice Saturday before issuing its final game designations.
