Rangers will surely be without six players, while St Johnstone will miss one of their first-team regulars when the two sides square off at Ibrox.
Derek McInnes saw his side’s seven-game winning run come to an end last week, as Dundee held them to a 2-2 draw.
However, they will be looking to get back to winning ways and go into the St Johnstone clash as overwhelming favourites.

Emmanuel Fernandez has been struggling at Rangers this season. What have you made of his performances and what should Derek McInnes do? 🤔
Lawrence Shankland suffered a hamstring tear and required surgery on it back in September. That meant that he would be out of action until December at the very least, and will thus be missing this game. Shankland may return to light training in November, but still seems weeks away from a first-team return.
Youssef Chermiti, obviously, is a longer-term absentee, and it will be a surprise if he returns to action this season following his ACL rupture. Daisuke Yokota could be back in action within a few weeks after being out since September with a groin issue that required surgery.
Ross McCrorie also picked up a hamstring injury, but his setback is not understood to be as serious as Shankland’s, and he may be back before the international break. Jose Cifuentes, who’s still on the books, is also a long-term injury absentee.
Cammy Devlin also underwent surgery on his hamstring and will return after the international break, meaning he is another one to miss Saturday’s game.
For St Johnstone, as things stand, Zach Mitchell is the only absentee following his ACL injury in September.
