Wellington looking to appoint new 'chairperson' this evening
Mike Hall - resigned as chairman earlier this season

WELLINGTON Association Football Club are holding an Extraordinary General Meeting this evening (Oct 19) to appoint a new chairperson.

It will be held in the clubhouse and will start at 7.30p.m.

The club are looking to replace Mike Hall who stepped down as chairman earlier this season. He took over the first team duties at the start of the season but eventually resigned saying he could no longer give the role ‘the time, energy and commitment it deserves.’

Meanwhile, Wellington’s first team will be back in action tomorrow (Oct 20) when they play away to Shepton Mallet in the Jewson Western League’s Les Phillips Cup. Both Shepton and Wellington play in the Premier Division.
