Video: Hyeon-gyu Oh bags Europa League brace ahead of Celtic return

The Turkish team beat Hoffenheim 3-2 away from home, with Oh's goals in the 72nd and 79th minute proving crucial.

Oh's first strike came from a swift counterattack, while his second was a close-range finish.

After his second, Oh celebrated by taking off his jersey.

Celtic will face Oh and Besiktas in a Europa League match at Parkhead next month.

Oh left Celtic in 2024 for Genk, where he scored 22 goals in 73 appearances.

He then moved to Besiktas in a €14 million deal in 2025.

Oh joined Celtic in January 2023 under Ange Postecoglou, recording 12 goals in 47 appearances.

He won the treble within his first six months at the club and helped Brendan Rodgers do the double in his first campaign back at the club.

Besiktas are currently fourth in the Europa League phase with six points from their first two games.

Celtic, meanwhile, are third from bottom with zero points, having lost to both Ferencvaros and Benfica already.
