Jake Paul’s business partner Nakisa Bidarian has provided an update on Jake Paul’s return to boxing.

Jake Paul last stepped into the ring when he took on Anthony Joshua in a highly controversial heavyweight fight last December.

Joshua broke Paul’s jaw in the sixth round after landing a thunderous right hand to put an end to the fight, and hand ‘The Problem Child’ his second loss in professional boxing.

And now almost over a year since his brutal loss, Paul is in talks to make his return to the sport with a potential return in December being discussed.

Paul in talks for fight against Darren Till next

It seemed as though the controversial internet sensation was going to pursue a potential rematch against Tommy Fury next, but Paul turned down the idea of a Fury rematch claiming that ‘the ship has sailed’. Instead, Paul published his audacious 15-man hitlist of fighters he wants to fight before he retires, including names like Francis Ngannou, Tom Aspinall and Sean Strickland.

Also included on his list was former UFC welterweight title challenger, Darren Till, who since leaving the UFC back in 2022, has gone on an impressive five fight win streak, competing in different promotions and under different rulesets. ‘The Gorilla’ has been calling for a fight against ‘The Problem Child’ for some years now, and it seems as though his wish may be coming true.

According to Paul’s business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, he is in talks with Till regarding a fight against Paul either at the end of this year or the beginning of 2027. “Darren Till is definitely one of the names that Jake put out there on his list, and is definitely one of the names that we’ve been speaking to,” Bidarian told The Sun Sport.

“The date, time and location depends on how quickly I can get the opponent done and the distribution of the fight appropriately figured out based on that opponent. If it takes us another 3-4 weeks to figure this out there’s not gonna be a fight this year, it’s probably early next year, if we figure it out in the next 24 hours, we’ll hopefully get a fight in this year… We’re trying our best to get it done,” Bidarian continued.

Earlier this month, Till claimed he is waiting for Paul to send the contract, making it clear that he is interested in the fight. Despite that, Till still has one fight left on his current BKFC deal, however, it is likely that the promotion would allow him to fight elsewhere without breaching his contract.
