After deciding late that he wanted a career in sports journalism, Daniel worked his way up the ladder in an unconventional manner.

Having opted against university, Daniel worked with Sky Sports as a freelance contributor and translator during transfer windows while also volunteering on several other blog pages and outlets to get a portfolio of content together.

Daniel then worked with Barnet FC as part of their social media team before starting his own website, which focused on football and MMA content.

That eventually led to work with 90min and Reach PLC with The Mirror, Daily Record, Daily Express, and Manchester Evening News.

Following that, Daniel spent two-and-a-half years with Breaking Media covering Everton, Rangers, Leeds, West Ham and other clubs before joining GiveMeSport as a Premier League editor.

As well as football, Daniel is a huge MMA fan and has appeared on YouTube and podcast content too.

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will finally be going head-to-head in a matter of weeks, in what is arguably the biggest fight in British boxing history.

The heavyweight duo, two of the greatest heavyweights in British boxing history, will step into the ring to settle their decade-long rivalry on December 11th at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with the WBA 'Super' Heavyweight title on the line following Oleksandr Usyk's vacating of the belt earlier this year.

Joshua comes into the fight on the back of consecutive wins over Jake Paul and then Kristian Prenga, while Fury has won his last two fights this year against Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach, having come out of retirement.

As a result of the bout finally being confirmed, fans and pundits have all been sharing their predictions for the event, with many split on who will come out on top at this stage of their careers.

The iconic pair will meet in Britain after months of negotiations between Matchroom, Queensbury and TKO ended in an agreement, with Eddie Hearn pushing for the fight to be kept in the UK for fans, rather than moved to Madison Square Garden.

But despite the fight taking place in Wales in mid-December, it has since been confirmed that the main-event ring walk won't take place until around 1am local time, with the venue remaining open until 3:30am for fans. Those are peak hours for a US audience, which is likely to have been a major factor in the compromise of the venue being found.

Exclusive: Carl Froch Predicts Joshua vs Fury

Carl Froch

Someone who has been heavily invested in the fight is former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch, who enjoyed a brilliant boxing career himself before entering the world of media upon his retirement.

Froch was known for his power punching and long jab, which allowed him to maintain distance from his opponents before landing his right straight, while his durability and conditioning were always among his best attributes too.

And speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, via BetVictor Online Casino, Froch was asked for his prediction for the fight, and believed that Fury's traditional boxing skills would be enough to earn him the victory.

"Tyson Fury wins on points at a minimum. But it’s probably more likely that he gets AJ out of there. Probably round eight or nine. I think that’s when AJ starts to fall apart.

"I don’t think Fury knocks him unconscious because he isn’t a massive puncher, but I think he puts three, four, five shots together and forces a stoppage. Maybe he puts him on the floor.

"Points win or late stoppage for Fury."
