Daniel Cormier’s commentary has come under fire from fight fans after he made some strange claims on the desk.
During the prelims of UFC 333, Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev scored what looked to be a completely vicious knockout of Nikita Krylov. It was actually a frightening stoppage, but Cormier wasn’t convinced that Jason Herzog made the right decision to stop the fight.

Former heavyweight and light-heavyweight champion Cormier reckoned that Krylov, who appeared to be out on the canvas, was able to survive. This enraged viewers, who mocked him for his supposed bias towards Russian fighters.
A massive knee from Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev clearly forced a stoppage of Nikita Krylov halfway through the first round of an exciting light-heavyweight prelim. However, Daniel Cormier seemed to think that the Russian had hopped back to his feet quickly.

“He went down limp,” Cormier noted. “But it seemed like he bounced up decently quick.” He then questioned the stoppage, which irked fans.
“What fight was Cormier watching?” One viewer asked. “Bro was out cold getting smoked in the face while laying face down a– up on the canvas.” Another asked “Can we please get Daniel Cormier off the UFC commentary team Always so biased and incredibly wrong about everything.”
