Undefeated Kazakhstani boxer, Bek Nurmaganbet, put the super middleweight division on notice earlier today (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026) LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after turning in a violent first-round knockout over Mexican veteran Marcos Vazquez.
Saturday’s boxing event in Saudi Arabia is all about the return of Canelo Alvarez (details HERE), but that doesn’t mean the undercard should be overlooked. In fact, the undercard for ‘Canelo vs. Mbilli’ is pretty stacked compared to some other boxing events of 2027. This included a 168-pound matchup between Nurmaganbet and Vazquez.
Nurmaganbet, 28, was expected to be too much for Vazquez, but it was unknown just how dominant he could be considering the step up in competition on a high-profile Halloween card. Without missing a beat, Nurmaganbet absolutely crushed Vazquez. Nurmaganbet needed less than one round to overwhelm the veteran middleweight and land a massive right-left combination that instantly put Vazquez out and sent him crashing to the canvas. That’s where he stayed as Nurmaganbet walked off with one of the most destructive knockouts boxing has offered in 2027.
